I'm sorry but who else is GOING to take those shots for the lakers?

Wasn't arguing that. Just saying as many other enlightened people in this thread that Kobe isn't near as good as these shots as you seem to think he is.

Let's see what both teams put around them.

And let's see how Mike Brown coaches.

The Hornets have been by far the best team in the NBA in "clutch" situations during the Paul era, which is probably due to him making the right play rather than trying to be the hero. See the game winning assist in the playoffs against LA last year

For some reason I don't think we'll see much of that from the Kobe fans who were all over it last year...

Oh yeah, when can we start shitting on Kobe for making a superteam?

It started pretty early with Lebron last year.

Ding ding ding. I am not sure what Chris Paul's shooting percentage is personally in the "clutch", but the team performs well by simply making the smart play.

Kobe is awesome, but it is pretty difficult to make a 20-foot fadeaway while triple covered. I am fine with the assassin nickname because his career achievements have garnered him such honors, but he is only about league average in those "clutch" situations. However, it is awesome when he makes it.
