Interesting the fire chief mentioned magnesium in the fire. Guessing that’s a component of helicopter fuel?

Magnesium alloy forgings are used in aerospace applications, including critical gearbox parts helicopter and aircraft wheels. Forged magnesium parts are also used in aircraft engine applications.

Is still can’t believe this. I’ve lived with depression for the majority of my life. Sometimes so severe I’ve had to be hospitalized. Kobe was one of the few athletes I’d make appointment television to watch.

I loved the dude. I know it sounds weird to love an athlete who is thousands of miles from you but watching him play made me smile and gave me something to look forward to.

Everything happens for a reason. We may one day figure out why this happened, we also may not. Regardless, this is heartbreaking for so many people.

Like you forget he paid her off so no conviction?

Like you forgot she refused to take the stand, a.k.a. going under oath, and the prosecution dropped the charges. He then later settled a civil suit which is pretty SOP for celebs and is not an indication of guilt.

You talking about his “I may lose my job for this” speech?

Too many things from my childhood are getting ripped away too early.

Kobe was always a professional and one of the games pioneers.

He will be missed!

He's over the top with the "I may lose my job" part but he's probably just heavily impacted by it and thinking about guys in the league similarly impacted.

Even now it feels odd to hear Dj Jubilee blaring right before tipoff and I thought they should definitely play.

unfortunately now opens the possibility that other family members of Kobe were on board.

Especially since we haven't heard from them and nobody has said they talked to Vanessa.

They know if there was a baby and a toddler aboard.

Kobe was nicknamed the "Black Mamba" because he had a big penis.
