Why doesnt Purdue get to host a regional on their campus like all the other #1 seeds? Playing in Gary is shitty! That sucks for Purdue.

Kent State now up 7-2 in the 5th inning. Yeah, something about Purdue hosting wasnt an option for their campus? Anybody know the reason behind that?

Ryan Bores pitches a complete game for Kent, dominating the Purdue batters for a 7-3 Kent State win. Kent State has piled up 33 hits against Kentucky and Purdue!! Kent State now sits in the winners bracket final for the second strait season and will await the Purdue/Kentucky winner. Kent State doing work! KSU KSU KSU!!

Good year for the MAC with Ohio making a nice run in basketball and Kent doing well in baseball.

Kent State isnt a fluke team either. This is a team that has beat 3 current tournament teams in Georgia Tech, New Mexico St twice and Pepperdine twice. I really think with solid pitching and some luck, this team has the ability to make a legit run! The nations longest winning streak is now at 19 games.

Showing my age, but Kent St scored a pair of touchdowns, plus some, to beat one of Skip's team in the regional, when I was a student.

LSU still won the national championship that year.

Nice job by that pitcher. He picked the perfect time to throw a complete game to save the bullpen after the 21 inning game yesterday.

Well they havent won anything yet, and im sure Stricklin will remind them of that! Remember, they were in the same spot last year after beating Texas and Texas State, then proceeded to lose twice to Texas in the final. The good news for Kent is that i dont see a Texas caliber team in the Gary regional. Kent State as a program has much more experience then any of the teams left in Gary. Stricklin talked about that fact. Kent State thinks and expects to win!
