This offseason, Hutchinson timed 6.54 3-cone, which would’ve been better than anyone at the 2020 combine. In addition, he vertical jumped 36 inches, ran a 4.64 40 and ripped off a 4.07 shuttle time. Hutchinson also did a 2.57-second reactive plyo stair, which at 265, amazed even his strength coaches. He is the first athlete that veteran strength coach Ben Herbert has witnessed do a “Turkish Get-up” with 135 pounds and no collars (to lock on the plates) in 24 years working in college weight rooms. (Any mistake or hint of imbalance in keeping the bar perfectly level, and the weight will slide off.)

Thibodeaux seems like bust potential but he is tempting.

At best you're getting a Clowney type with Thibodeaux, but at worst you're getting DaQuan Bowers.

Pro sports teams, but especially the NFL and NBA, almost always go with the freak athlete who has potential vs the guy with proven abilities.

Hutchinson will be in the league for 10+ years and probably go to a few pro bowls. That's hard to pass up.

Bowers wasn't close to the athlete Thibodaux is, it's partly why he wasn't a high pick.

UW played against both. The LT, Jaxson Kirkland, got embarrassed by Hutchinson. He completely shut down Thibodeaux though. Hutchinson seems like he has the higher floor between the two, but Thibodeaux may have the higher ceiling.

Lol. Kirkland didn’t shut him down. You can’t triple team Hutchinson because they have another 10+ sack kid on the other side.

Thibodeaux didn’t have an injury until this year and it’s an ankle. Also, I have no idea who’s better between Hutchinson and Thibodeaux. Hutchinson and Thibodeaux are both game wreckers. I do think Hutchinson benefits from a better scheme and talent around him. Michigan has a better defense all around.

He started halfway through his frosh season, had the abortion of a covid season in the PAC-12 and then had the high ankle sprain this season. This kid hasn’t even gotten started really.

Honestly, I think Anderson is the best edge guy, so there is that. This class of edge players is extremely good.

Have you seen this guy play at all? I heard hype about him earlier in the season, but he looked like arse against Louisiana.

Anderson is just a true sophomore. He's not eligible until the 2023 draft

I though he was in his third year. That’s frightening.
