I would sign to be a QB, too, but like Kaepernick, signing me would be catostrophic to their bottom line. Sorry, man, but if you cost me money to be an employee, you will not be an employee for me for very long.

Depends on who you ask. Different people have different views. Outside of child molestors and the lowest scum of the earth, I cant have that much hate for a person.

Poor little Kap. Took a political/issue stand at work and his employer, as well as a large chunk of its customer base, didn’t like it.

Actions have consequences, intended or not...real or not.

He sounds like Richard Gere in American Gigolo when he got desperate enough to even do gay tricks.

Let's wait another 36 months and if he is still in the best shape of his life then give him a try.

It's the constant media distraction that a backup qb would create for your team. There's a reason teams are willing to deal with media attention when signing guys like Joe Mixon and Tyreek Hill. They're high performers at their position so there's productivity that comes with it. Kaep is a backup QB that will be the only thing on your team the media will pay any attention to. If he were a top flight starter, he'd have been signed a long time ago because he'd be worth the distraction.

Why did they feel like they had to emphasize that he’d EVEN play for the redskins? Of course he would. He doesn’t give a shite about that.

I don't understand why people can't comprehend that it's not about him being better or worse than Sanchez or any other backup QB's.

It's about the media circus and distractions he brings with him, along with probably wanting a bigger contract than he's worth.

Why would any team sign up for that? He's not elite, if he was then he'd be playing. He's just not worth the trouble.

Bingo. Was the same with Tebow who could have been at least a 3rd string QB or Michael Sam who had the talent to be a backup DE.

For guys like that, NFL owners and coaches don’t want a complete media fiasco around the lockeroom. Kaepernick ain’t throwing for 5000 yards and 40 TDs, so the circus that would follow him wouldn’t be worth it.

BS. When has truth mattered to SJWs, ESPN, or MSM.
That would just stoke the embers to another fire storm.

I don’t care about the kneeling at all, and i would rather Kaep as my QB over any of the following:

Nathan Peterman
Mark Sanchez
Chase Daniel
Josh Rosen
Cody Kessler
Colt McCoy
Tom Savage
Josh McCown
Case Keenum
Brock Osweiler
Matt Barkley
Tyrod Taylor

All of whom have started games this year.

ETA: which one would you take with a month to prepare for a playoff game? Only one I can see an argument being made for is Keenum.

That just means he wants to be paid like a top 5 guy and won’t sign for less.
That’s the one missing thing from this entire saga...his asking price. If he wants $10million/year, then we know why he isn’t signed. If he wants $2million/year, then we know why he isn’t signed.

I hope he signs somewhere.

The world can finally see that this is a business and has no place for subpar quarterbacks. Kaep would be no better than Sanchez or Peterman at this point. He’s been out far too long.
