My explanation was that you don't see people making a thread about it because there isn't a national story about their headphones that warrants a discussion. If I went on the rant and said I hate that the players wear big headphones to warm up, people would ask why the hell did I bring that up. In this situation, the thread was started because it is a topic that is worth discussing, and people can critique the style because it fits in the topic.

The only Bose headphones that stand up to similarly priced competition are their Quiet Comforts.
The rest are completely overpriced. Most people get enough noise cancellation from regular over the ear headphones, so their QC's are also pretty impractical for the price
