Idk if been mentioned, but apparently they did that entire press conference and they directed their problems to the wrong person.
Attorney General says her requests need to be brought to Gov. Rick Scott's office and the FDLE

I'm not saying he needs to but its how my opinion is being swayed. His story and witnesses seemed coached and has taken a year two get two friends to agree to a statement. I'm not saying he needs to prove innocence for the TPD but there's not much out there on his side of the story that leads me to wanting to think this chick is lying about it.
FWIW. I get what you're saying.
But I watched Ronald Darby's witness video. And imho....
He seemed very genuine in what he was saying. Didnt really seemed coached at all.
The accuser's witness, M.K, seemed more coached than Darby. And what she was saying proved to be the most damning and consistent with what others said.

The incident happened a year ago, so it's difficult to know whether his statements were "coached". People have to go over their story numerous times with their attorneys. Of course it can sound rehearsed, but that doesn't mean it's not true.

i haven't followed in this amount of detail to give a fully educated opinion on this but .... i still think this girl's story adds up in different pieces but it still may have had too many holes regardless of the investigation to convict although it sure as hell would have been a lot tougher decision had the TPD done a valid job from day 1 on the investigation.

What points add up to you if you dont mind me asking?
ETA: I do agree about there needed to be an investigation day 1 though.

how she didn't know who he was
her memory was whacked that night
investigators botched the thoroughness of the toxicology tests
being dropped off at a corner from a scooter
the deleting of the video
the phone calls to the friend or whatever thinking she was raped.... it just doesn't appear to be a planned event.

@TomahawkNation: Attorney now admits they did cut off contact with TPD, but says it is because they were scared of TPD.

I put zero weight in those statements. They were taken a year after the event and his teammates were not subject to cross examination.

how she didn't know who he was -
her memory was whacked that night - maybe, but she remembered his broke door, and the color of sheets. Her friend remembers having a conversation with her about leaving and going outside. Friend said she seemed fine.
investigators botched the thoroughness of the toxicology tests - allegedly
being dropped off at a corner from a scooter - She told him to drop him off near her apartment. Darby saw her ride off with him on the scooter (she was holding onto him) although she also said she was blacking in and out. Which is hard to do on a scooter
the deleting of the video - Not sure why some one would keep other naked people on their phones forever. If you think rape happened...you'll think its a cover up. If you think nothing happened...well then it sounds like somebody who would delete something that didnt involve them. Should be noted that the accuser never mentioned the vid...the witness did...so either he incriminated himself....or he just told the truth.
the phone calls to the friend or whatever thinking she was raped.... Cant argue here. Whatever her motivation for saying it, idk. Either he did it or the chick lied because of something she regretted doing idk
it just doesn't appear to be a planned event.

So should we put zero weight in her witness statements as well?
the fact that M.J said he was the only one she was messing with and that he provided her drinks. The fact that M.K said she seemed fine before leaving?
It works both ways.

So you're saying that she wouldn't be able to return the text if she was being raped, but she could return the text if she was being loved tenderly?

She was questioned the same day as the event.

For the record..
are we even sure that text happened on that night or some other time?

and?
I didn't know where I was
I didn't know who I was with
I don't remember anything about the events leading up to being in the predicament I'm in
Yet, during the time she's allegedly being raped, a friend texts her asks her where r u?
Her answer isn't I don't know
Not at some strange guys house
Not I went home with three strange boys
She replies his house.
Like...you know exactly where I'm at b/c I know exactly where I'm at.
C'mon man.

way too many holes in this and way too many dots you are connecting probably erroneously here.
