sacked 6 times in 10 plays

“The defense sacked Fields on six of his 10 drop backs. Fields completed three of the other four. Two were dump-offs to Jeremy Ruckert. One was a short pass to Wilson,” Hughes wrote on X. “The miss was a little alarming. The Jets blitzed. Offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand dialed up a perfect beater that had Josh Reynolds open on a corner route without safety help. It seemed a pretty easy pitch-and-catch for a would-be long gainer (potential touchdown). Fields missed him pretty bad.”

It was Georgia's fault.

It was Chicago's fault.

It was Pittsburgh's fault.

its pretty damn relevant when your boy ag fawned over the jets like it was some huge loss to the saints and then nabbed fields as his qb plug n play guy. people shite all over the saints organization all offseason.

Yeah, I've already seen a bunch of "Shaduer looks incredible, GMs totally missed out" posts, as he practices in shorts and no pads with no pass rush.

3 of which, and now a 4th in NYJ, run pro-style type offenses that require more than simply a big arm and athleticism to excel in.

The one place he succeeded is a dumbed down (and I don't mean that as an insult btw) college offense where you may have 1, possibly 2, reads on a play and most of the time are going against vastly overmatched opponents.

Is it really any shock at all that he was elite at that one place and mediocre at best at the other 4?

Your thread title says Justin Fields is struggling, but the link says the o-line is struggling. I'm so confused right now.

Considering it’s the Jets and Fields…it’s both

The Jets got a bad OL as usual and Fields holds onto the ball too long
