The very simply work around, which should appease everyone, is College Baseball World Series and College Softball World Series.

Let’s forget the trans shite for a second

If a woman wanted to play in the CWS and was a good enough baseball player she could.

A man could not play in the softball World Series.

It is literally not the Men’s College World Series. It is literally the Women’s college World Series

Why did they feel the need to clarify that it was the men's in the first place.

This would mean it’s the same sport but you have to differentiate between womens and mens. It’s two different sports. There’s no need for mens or womens.

Correct. It's an "open" division and a women's division.

This is also true in other non-athletic activities like chess and bridge.

The like how this board is triggered by the "Men's" part in the MCWS.

I still don't understand why its called the World Series in the first place. The US and Canada =/= The World

It is not limited to men, and therefore is the CWS.

Olivia Pachardo became the first woman to play in a div 1 baseball game
