Meh, I welcome the change. Seeding has needed a change for years. Only thing I'm not too fond of is the playoff play in stuff, but that's because I'm not big on single game elimination being a deciding factor for advancement.

How about, seeding is based over the entire NBA. 6 are division Champs, 6 will be the next 6 best teams by record, and the last 4 will come from a tournament involving the next 8 teams. Single elimination.
