the amount he tested positive for is what you would get in your system from second hand smoke.
From what I heard, he wouldn't have failed the Olympics drug test.

cant believe some of you thought he would get any less. He has had failed drug test all through college and nfl. It was obvious

I thought at first that they may try to give him some leniency so as to defuse the Ray Rice situation.

But it became obvious after a week or so that the real plan all along was simply for enough time to pass since the Ray Rice decision so that people stopped caring and then they could give Gordon the hammer.

Browns WR Josh Gordon can ask for reinstatement after 2014 season. Determination made then about training camp 2015.

am very disappointed that the NFL and its hearing office didn't exercise better discretion and judgment in my case

maybe he is the one who should have used better judgement and discretion

For what, though? He failed the test.

Have there been any articles outlining his legal options after the appeal?

Definitely agreed that he put himself in this situation. I think most everyone does.

However, there has to be some continuity.

Forget the Ray Rice BS, look at Denver kicker. He got his year-long ban down to four games.

The NFL has set a terrible precedent with hypocrisy

Yeah, I don't see where he has anywhere to go.

The drug ban penalties, the amount necessary for a penalty, Goodell making the decision, Goodell hearing the appeal?

All collectively bargained with the players.

On the bright side, the players did get reduced minicamp practices.

I heard on the radio yesterday Rosenhaus/Gordon weren't even willing to negotiate with the NFL... legal system here we come.

And Gordon/NFL should lose. Shitty situation for Gordon but the NFL and NFLPA freely negotiated their shitty drug policy.
