And yet 10-20X on his investment.
Only Jordan fans could make this about debating a billionaire’s profit from a sale and not how shite a supposed GOAT is at understanding modern basketball.

Michael Jordan is basketball illiterate. He didn’t have to do anything but play 1 on 1 because of the rules in his day and it shows.

Plenty of people had the same money as him and didn't make as fortunate of an investment
please point to the last person who bought into a big 3 league sport franchise over a decade ago who either lost money or only made meager returns on it when they eventually sold

How has there never been anyone in the media do a deep dive on how shockingly terrible Michael Jordan is at recognizing or developing talent or team building?

The media protects this guy more than that black homosexual politician meth addict hotel pooper.

It’s unreal.

Jordan could kill his neighbor and people would excuse it because he was that competitive

I mean the results speak for themselves, no deep dive really needed

So it is his fault he’s lost so many times.

Meanwhile, there is plenty of evidence Jordan had direct impact on the Bulls Dynasty personnel.

A few examples, Rodman signing. Vetoing Pippen trades, etc…

MJ selling out is the best news I've heard. I hated to see Brandon Miller going to that bunch of losers.

Rich guys famously don’t play golf, everyone knows that

cmon man. Obviously Billions is ridiculous, but you can very easily lose your shirt with some rich dicks on a golf course

ETA my bad I see what you were replying to and where you were going with that.

Dude could gamble 1M a week for the next 25 years and still only blow 1.3B. He will be fine.

10k per hand, 3 hands at a time. The only other person at the table was Charles Berkley. He was playing 1 hand at 500 per. Tiger was with them just not playing, he was more interested in the 2 women with him.

He has blown considerably more in a shorter period before. Not saying it is something he always does or that he is hurting for money but he has lost 8 figures in less than a week before.

Huh?

It was unreal to me....but then realizing how much he has it really isn't that big of a deal for him....sorry it wasn't clear.

easily. He’d run circles around MJ in the front office and the court.

Apparently he had some bad investments he's still on the hook for and lots of gambling debt at several casinos

Yeah something isn’t right. Dude should be worth more money than God. He’s apparently made some really bad financial decisions.

He had enough to drop $130m on buying into ownership.
