First of all, Aaron Rodgers definitely isn’t gay. Olivia Munn is a notorious cock mongrel and moved to live with him in Green Bay. Now Danica Patrick is all over his dong. He’s a liberal Californian so Southerners call him gay.
Secondly, I don’t know Aaron obviously but I’ve had interactions with both of his brothers in Nashville and they’re both megadouches, and both seem very fame hungry. They just opened a restaurant a few blocks from my house and Jordan owns a home down the street. (Sidenote: the bachelorette chick is smokin IRL). Aaron seems like the opposite, personality wise.
Aaron’s teammates love him and Matt Flynn considers him one of his best friends and I’ve always thought Matt seemed like a pretty cool guy. Aaron seems to have a pretty good sense of humor as well (photo bombing, denim suits, mustache, etc.)
I don’t know what happened, but if you put a gun to my head, I’d say his family did something nefarious with his money and he cut them out of his life. He was still close with them early in his pro career, as he came to Nashville several times to watch Jordan play at Vanderbilt and sat with his family in the stands.
So it was something that happened between them once he was already rich.

The problem is more people were harmed than just Aaron's mom(and from the sound of Jordan's tweet she wasn't harmed). His problems with his family doesn't mean he can't raise money for other people. If he was complaining about him getting some citizenship award it would make sense but in this case it's just attention seeking that isn't trying to improve their relationships at all.

Kind of the point. $1MM to Aaron Rogers isn’t the same as $1MM to normal people. He makes that much every two weeks, so he basically gave what amounts to one paycheck for regular people. And that doesn’t even include what he makes off endorsements.

I didn’t say it wasn’t appropriate. Not sure why you put appropriate in quotations. But a million dollars for Rogers is less a percentage of his yearly salary than many people tithe every week at church. Just providing perspective, nothing more nothing less
