5th round draft pick this year. Worked his arse off and is starting offensive lineman in the NFL. Proud of him and glad that he is proud of Louisiana Tech. Is he supposed to be ashamed that he went to Louisiana Tech.

Wasn't trying to get into a correct grammar argument on a message board but it was a rhetorical question. Meaning to produce an effect than to summon an answer.
rhetorical question = Though these are technically questions, they do not always require a question mark.
He can say that he went to "The Louisiana Tech University" all he wants. There is no other Louisiana Tech University. Who gives a shite. Stupid for people to hate on him. I'm done with this argument.

Not hate just a pity that a college educated moron doesn't understand what "the" name of his school is. Or doesn't think his school name is prestigious enough so he adds "the" to "the" name. Or doesn't understand that when players from The Ohio State University say "The Ohio State University" it's because that's the freaking name.

But La Tech is just plain ole La Tech .. The word technical(or another word that tech may be an abbreviation for) is nowhere to be found in La Tech's name
