Sorry, but the last 13 years pretty much wipes out the first 47

True. And I don't think we will ever know for sure, but it doesn't matter. We know enough for the man to never coach another down of football. We don't know enough to say how exactly awful is inaction was.

I agree with you guys on everything he's testified to! He assumed it was taken care of by his superiors and it wasn't. I'm questioning how much he knew beyond what he testified to.

McGinger didn't tell him exactly that?

Um, what? He said that under oath. Unless he's lying.

he didn't check the papers for a decade to see if Sandusky and his four rows of yellow teeth were arrested?

He knew Sandusky was working at a charity for at risk kids.

He knew Sandusky was at his football practice with a kid.

Then his is an idiot as well. What part of Sandusky still being there with children would make him believe that it was "taken care of"?

yes, he did. It was 2nd hand. He swore under oath that is what McQueary told him. It was an allegation. Sandusky was Joe Pa's friend and I am sure he had some rebuttal when it originally happend.

Joe Pa didn't walk by a kid getting buttfricked and turned his head numerous times. That is what it sounds like he is saying.

Yep, this appears to be a case of CYA to the extreme.

This. Why even go to the superiors. First call cops and if you insist second call superiors. This isn’t about chain of command, this is about hearing that a child might have been raped.

From a kid he knew his entire life, had coached for years and worked with for several more. You get to the bottom of it one way or the other.

Someone would have to be either the most retarded motherucker in the world, or the most naive motherfricker in the world to believe that Paterno had no idea about Sandusky's indiscretions. Maybe both.

I agree. The AD and VP dropped the ball the way they handled it.

geez Joe Schad is butchering this whole thing on SVP

1. thinks Paterno should get to finish coaching since he's done so much for the university
2. said it could have been a "generational thing" when it comes to handling these things behind closed doors without cops

what a putz

Exactly. He didn't follow through and look into it like he should have. You can't allow a person with those allegations against them to be involved with children on your campus without at least looking into it and making sure that the allegations aren't true.
