It was a close game. The Bills could have tied it with a FG without the missed extra point and would have had a first and goal to win if Davis had gotten a second foot inbounds inside the 5 on the last drive.
The narrative could have easily been different this morning with Brady being praised for the catch and lateral.

Acting like he isn’t one of the best OCs is wild Buffalo scoring offense 2023 6th (took over with 7 games left, they won 6 as the offense exploded) 2024 2nd 2025 4th
Buffalo under Allen always has a top scoring offense no matter who the OC is
2020 Daboll-3rd
2021 daboll-3rd
2022 Dorsey-3rd
2023 Dorsey/Brady-6th
2024 Brady-2nd
So 3 different OCs and always a top 5 scoring offense. Brady isn’t very good at all. He is inconsistent and lacks flow which is why the offense sputters so much
He has excellent concepts but struggles putting games together

Their offense suffers from the same thing Drew Brees did later in his career; failure to put WR talent around him.
Their top receivers, by target:
Khalil Shakur 71
Keon Coleman 49
Dalton Kincaid 36
Josh Palmer 29
James Cook 26
Dawson Knox
Tyrell Shavers 17
Elijah Moore 17
Bottom 5 WR group in the NFL.

It definitely could have been different, but it’s not. Their offense scored 12 points (give them 13 with the XP) last night and could have had more. Brady’s play-calling was part of that.
What’s crazy is the hook-and-ladder shouldn’t have worked, but the Texans’ defense played poorly in that situation. Stingley started to go towards Palmer instead of staying outside like he was supposed to. Otherwise, it’s most likely a tackle after about 20 yards which is what normally happens.
