It’s not, it’s heavily front loaded. I think the dead money if he’s cut on May 30th 2020 is only like 5-6 million or something.

two points:
1.) this is extremely dangerous allowing defenders to make contact with a quarterback downfield. Really need to look at rules that levy heavy penalities, including ejection, on any defensive player that makes physical contact with a quarterback, on or off the field.

Hate to see that. I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery. Still a pretty good chance he pans out as a solid NFL qb imo

Three more points.
1, He initiated the contact, not the defender.
2. His knee gave out on the step before the contact anyway. The contact had nothing to do with it.
3. With the first pick in the 2019 draft the San Francisco 49ers take... (assuming they didn't give up the pick to get him in the first place, I don't remember the details of the trade)
