Miss out of KD, Kawhi, Kyrie, Klay, etc, and get Jimmy Butler on a max deal.
Sounds about as appealing as Mozgov and Luol Deng on huge deals a few years back.

Jimmy's insane work ethic and expectations of his teammates may mesh with Lebron's work ethic, or else it will be Jimmy riding Lebron which Lebron will utterly hate (and attack indirectly and with passive aggressiveness)
10 years ago i think they could work together when Lebron was legit insane at working on his game, but i think he's coasting now

I’m fine with Kyrie and Butler ending up in LA. Kind of fricks AD’s offseason plans for 2020 if he can’t sign a deal over the MLE to go to the Lake Show.

I think Jimmy is one of the few players that dgaf that Lebron is Lebron, and wouldn't hesitate to let him know as much if the situation called for it.
