Are people actually saying that he'll be elite?

I'm not saying he'll be an all-star or anything but he can be a solid player in the league.

Elite was overboard I just mean a good NBA starter. A lot of people have compared him to some really good NBA players

I'm not saying that he'll be Steve Nash, mainly because Nash is one of the most unique players in the history of the NBA, but I do think people are underrating him because he's white. This is such a stupid thing to argue about. We'll see next year what he can do.

FWIW I think he'll be a better pro than Rubio, who is longer and more athletic.

i think its an interesting topic. In the last 10-15 years name some successful white guards under 6'4" in the NBA? To find a shoot first one is even harder

few and far between.

odds are heavily stacked against him.

there is a reason to underrate him because he is white.

Chapman actually not a bad comparison.

i think Hornacek was a little too fundamentally sound to be fairly compared to Jimmer. More of a tactician, catch and shoot type shooter

Chapman played with a little more abandon, more like Jimmer. Low percentage FG shooters. Though i think Chap is a little longer and was a better athlete overall.

I still think that if we are only going to compare him to white guys, Mark Price is a good comp.

I don't think Jimmer is going to be dunking on Dwight any time soon

Mike Bibby IMO - but I do think he will be a better passer at the next level. He can get into the lane but he's not going to be finishing like he is now. Those layups will turn into assists.

i never said he couldnt play in the NBA. I just dont think he will be that good.

it reaffirms what a lot of people thought.

Florida has athletic guards, but they were undersized. Their front line is filled with long athletes. Freddette had a rough time most of the game getting clean looks, even against small athletic guards. Not to mention he had 6 turnovers.

NBA teams have FL athleticism x's10

Jimmer will be just as good or better than JJ Redick in the NBA IMO.
