Think Martin was a bit rough on McMahon?

Google the Turkey Joe Jones hit on Bradshaw.

And how many SB rings does that "GOAT QB" have?

His play in the 1980 Holiday Bowl vs. SMU was incredible. That is to this day one of the best bowl games I've ever watched along with the 2008 Rose Bowl (USC/Texas).

How in the world did they let Miami derail their perfect season? Still hard to believe.

Because Miami with Marino at his best were the ideal team to beat their defense. The game was also in the Orange Bowl, which was a damn tough place to play. It was also Monday Night Football. The Bears were also 13-0 at the time and it was a big deal to preserve the ‘72 Dolphins as the only undefeated Super Bowl champion.

A rematch in the Super Bowl would have been fun to watch.

Man it’s tough seeing Steve McMichael like that

Very tough. McMahon lives/lived near me and I used to see him out and about quite a bit and he is almost unrecognizable. Age, the NFL and alcohol have taken their toll.

Certainly would have been a better game than the Patriots gave them.

The AFCCG loss to the Tony Eason Pats stung about as bad as the '74 "Sea of Hands" loss to the Raiders.

Indeed, I was only 10 but remember all of it.

That's when BYU's offense caught my eye, their passing attack was incredible. However, the next year was Nebraska running that 'I bone' offense and running up 500 + yards per game. Then in 84, with Robbie Bosco, I never thought I would see another offense like BYU's. Didn't play the best teams but still ran up and down the field passing the ball like Tecmo Bowl.

Jim was a cool mofo. Too bad he suffers from CTE. I remember a Packer player slamming his arse into the turf after a play was over.
