I'm sorry but who on here was up in arms when Burrow transferred from Ohio State?

Because of the Larry Johnson situation, right?
Well, Oregon tore up our defense and for whatever reason, Knowles didn't adjust. I like Knowles and I think he did a great job for us. I also think he gets too much credit for how our defense played this year, particularly after that Oregon loss.

All your local podcasts suggested something different.

You might be surprised to hear that I don't really care what the podcast bros in Columbus think or say.

Everyone knows that Ohio State has deep enough pockets to match/exceed any offer, especially after winning the natty.
But if you match/exceed every offer then you only invite every coach on your staff to shop his wares, even if they don't want to leave, just to get a pay raise.
And now with NIL you have players that could use the same strategy, if you are always willing to match all offers.
You have to be willing to let a guy walk to send a message to rest of your staff/players that you're willing to say "don't let the door hit you in the arse".
Just like any other business, you have to draw the line somewhere.
And let's be honest.
Ohio State's defense being amazing had a lot more to do with a bunch of 5 Stars like Sawyer, JTT, Downs etc. then it did with Knowles.
No big loss.

I’m just going to point out that Ystar only took this position because the coach is white and the players he’s likely referring to are black.

They aren’t the same.
Terrible comparison.

Let me rephrase so I don’t hurt your feelings.
Supposedly LJ was in the way of Jim doing his job. Something that some of your brethren here have acknowledged.
Day had to get involved because Jim was the DC but wasn’t exactly in control.

You listen to OSU podcasts and say you aren’t obsessed?

3.1 million is a lifetime of earnings for the average middle class family. But becoming peanuts when the five star kids out of high school are getting more

You aren’t hurting anyone's feelings, weirdo. I just don't get my opinions or news from podcast bros. But you do you.

If searching info on an opposing team is obsessed then call me obsessed.
Of course you’re not honest with yourself and need hyperbole anytime you post.
Such a child….

Was probably mad that Ryan Day kept all the JUST FOR MEN for himself.

Exactly. They need a real offense.

How? Only difference is that in one instance it's been an accepted practice for decades and considered "part of the business", while the other is a new practice, of which is looked down upon and it's members arent an "old boys club" but instead mercenaries and full of unloyalists.
Coaches have used their agents to get more money behind the scenes for years. Jimmy Sexton has built a reputation around just that thing.
Again, how is it different from what the players are doing through their agents? Seems like a just comparison to me.

You are listening to podcasts for a team you hate.
That is obsessed

LSU fan closeted Buckeye! I could understand if this was Michigan learning about your rival but I’m calling bandwagon here

I wonder if we would look at Iowa DC, Phil Parker or Pete Kwiatowski at Texas?
