"Philly is just changing my role knowing I can give more, knowing I can do more, but if you want me to be honest, it's like being on a leash," Harden said. "Like me knowing, in order for us to get where we want to get to, I was gonna have to be playing my best offensively, whether it's facilitating and scoring the basketball, and Joel as well. I never really had that opportunity as well."

As The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor noted, Harden ranked second in the NBA in time possessing the basketball last season behind only Luka Doncic. He was given plenty of opportunity in Philadelphia. However, even that was not enough for him. "Someone that trusts me believes in me, I'm not a system player, I am a system," Harden said.

Now that Dwight Howard is fricking trannies and/or dudes in Taiwan, Harden is easily the most unlikeable player in the League.

Reminds me of Johnny Drama. “Pal, I am the frickin’ game.”

Fun fact. In two career NCAA tournament games, James Harden shot a combined 3/18 from the floor.

I mean, he’s not wrong. Mike D’Antoni made him the Rockets’ entire system and it was very successful for the team and he played the best basketball of his career.

If you try to turn him into a system player to play second fiddle to someone else, you’re not maximizing his strengths.

The retard speaks in the present and then the past. He’s an idiot.

Clips will regret this trade for a decade. He’s a cancer. They’ll deal Westbrook by years end (cause James will force them), kawhi and PG will be hurt, and they won’t have first round picks for damn near 8 years.

Lol. Jim is past his prime and cannot even be a 2nd guy on a title team. With his lack of buy in I think he should take 4th behind Russ tbh

Harden thinks he needs more touches than anyone in the history of the game to be effective.

And no one is going to give him the usage stats he wants from the D’Antoni era in Houston.

The NBA in a nutshell right there.

Can’t even begin to imagine the absolute and pure hell it has to be as a coach, assistant, or GM dealing with these ignorant, entitled, egomaniacs.

Unlikeable is a good term for Jim. Draymond may be a jerk, but he
Goes all out every game.
Brooks is a thug. But plays hard every game. Jim just plays when he feels like it. The ultimate ME player.

The players have the power in the NBA. Their players association is very powerful and bargained it that way.

So what you get is crap like this and players sitting out whenever and wherever they want. I'm about done with watching the Pels cause we can't get our two most talented players to play any games together. Don't seem to be many coaches or organizations with the willingness to do anything about it.
