I think Harbaughs just using the nfl as leverage. He's staying at UM

Maybe, but the Vikings new GM got his start in the NFL with the 49ers while Harbaugh was the coach.

They know each other and the GM was just hired this week. The interview could be nothing more than a formality, and Harbaugh and the GM were a package deal

On one hand he'd do well in an org that would limit his involvement in personnel decisions ("Kaepernick is the best player in the draft")

On the other hand the guy has issues with authority and in the long run alienates everyone

Not an upgrade from Zimmer either way

He should leave. He pretty much peaked at Michigan this season. Losing a semifinal game to an SEC team is about as good a season as Michigan can hope for.

I agree. I like Michigan and was glad to see them have the year they did, especially beating OSU. But watching the Georgia game where I thought it would be the best semifinal game, Michigan with a great Big10 team, was so far behind the SEC competition.

Michigan is losing 4 offensive linemen, linebackers and defensive ends. Their quarterback play, not good to begin with, won’t be able to make up for all those leaving.

OSU will go undefeated. They will destroy Michigan in Columbus next fall. OSU will make it to the title game.

Harbaugh would be smart to leave unless he’s into rebuilding with the portal and NIL.

I’d love to have him come to New Orleans. Gayle needs to make it happen.

How the fuk did the Bears botch this so badly??

Without the 85 team, that organization would be no better than the Bengals.

didn't he leave SF because he & the GM couldn't get along? or was that another person in management there?

That was Trent Baalke, who was the GM in SF at the time and the current GM in Jax. The same guy who fired Harbaugh for Jim Tomsula.
