No he’s not getting the job because of his legal issues in the past. Even you can figure out that you can’t have your HC having those kind of marks against him.
Mike Vrabel got arrested for assault in college, and got arrested for stealing liquor from someone’s houseboat in 2011.
Do those not count or what?

Bienemy has a sex charge an assault charge and multiple FTA. These happened when he was outside of college.
Vrabel I can’t comment on because I’m not an Adams family member. But the sex and assault charge is going to disqualify him

Why is Leftwich such a hot name? Because they got a roster that was loaded?
Same reason young OCs for good offenses are always hot names.

Bienemy has an assault charge but not a sexual assault charge.
Posted on 2/2/22 at 11:38 pm to SammyTiger
Oh I see you’re going down that road
So tell us what Leftwich did his first year as OC full time. I give him a pass for Arizona. Leftwich hasn’t shown he can build anything yet. But he will get his chance

No after he graduated he had a sex assault charge
Posted on 2/2/22 at 11:40 pm to sms151t
I am Not seeing sexual assault anywhere.

Colorado police once again arrested Bieniemy, then in the NFL, in September 1993. The Orlando Sentinel reported that Bieniemy allegedly grabbed a female parking attendant by the neck and threatened her.
The University of Colorado Boulder banned Bieniemy from its campus for one year as a result.
It was originally a sex assault charge. It may gotten reduced
There’s also the FTA’s that he has. That probably is more damaging because he didn’t show up to court. There’s 2 of those.

You can find red flags for every hire.
My whole point is you see the same red flags get overlooked for white coaches.
Matt LaFleur was trash at Tennessee and got the Packers job because he worked for McVey.
Hackett has several bad to mediocre years for the jags but got the job because he his offense looked good with Rogers.
Same red flags. Some guys have jobs some guys don’t.

I think the solution is you cherry pick certain examples that suit your narrative, compare apples and oranges situations to support this overall complaint. And you argue and complain relentlessly, and any "other side" gets exasperated and since most don't really have any clear stake and they don't want to make the opposing arguments and observations because they'll be called racist, they just stop. So it's easier to just go along with it, relent. So more hires happen to shut you up. But you never do and just keeps growing, I think in waves. To summarize, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
Posted on 2/2/22 at 11:48 pm to Gaggle
I’m not cherry picking.
The arguement is that there are less black HC because they aren’t qualified. Well there are guys equally qualified to people being hired as HCs and they aren’t getting hired.
No one can tell me why red flags count for some guys and not other guys.

Gase is retarded, no clue why the Jets gave him a second chance, but it is the Jets.
And your only retort is that Leftwich and Bienemy should have a job? No knighting for Raheem Morris?

Raheem Morris you can at least say got a shot and wasn’t great.
He’s 21-38 as a head coach.
It’s about opportunities and whether these coaches are getting overlooked within a meritocracy.

Based on…your opinion? What makes someone qualified? Is it length of time served? As someone pointed out, what makes Leftwich so great? FWIW, I think he deserves a chance, but he’s ridden Brady’s coattails just like many others. Brady, Gronk, Evans, Godwin…that’s a loaded offense.
The same logic to hire Leftwich is the same logic you would use to shite on McDaniels when he went to Denver.

Texas Tiger….Sammy Tiger….How much longer are y’all going to go back and forth? lol
Posted on 2/3/22 at 12:05 am to TexasTiger08
He’s been the OC of a highly efficient offense that’s won championships. Generally that gets you a job.
Yes his QB is Tom Brady, but did that stopped BOB, McDaniels, or Weis? No.
