I miss the BCS.. Cannot stand the idea of a committee selecting teams with no true clear structure to get in.. and the possibility of politicking and bias. You can have a 4 game playoff with the BCS, which to me is absolutely ideal considering it pulls from different elements.

Totally agree

For those of you with access to still put in parlays cards, the +21 now has superb value. It was a bargain the last few days when the actual line was at around 15/16.5 and a half game suspension. But, now a bit of a forced hand, whether you care for it or not.

Most joints it's OTB currently.

There has got to be more to this; no way FSU extends the suspension the night before the game just because they were getting a little heat

The formula had a lot of flaws, and coaches tried to manipulate it

Why are people saying no clear structure? They are going to lay each team out and discuss the pros and cons then vote. Lol that's the structure.

Making a pros and cons list is a steep fall from the BCS system.

His Daddy told the media after crab heist that it was FSU's responsibility to have someone (chaperone/babysitter/handler/whatever) with him at all times. As if he's a special needs kid or something. Vince young comes to mind; brilliant on the field in college at times, but just not right in the head somehow.

I remember having to stay up to watch a Hawaii game that should have had no influence on a choosing.

Under the BCS, LSU could be hurt by playing in the SECCG. Like this year, when the east appears down, just playing the game (even if you win by 50) could hurt your SOS. That's a flaw.

At least strength of schedule had a say in the matter. That was an outlier but damn man...for the committee to say SoS isn't considered? Christ

of course it's considered. An undefeated Fresno will not keep a 1-loss SEC team out.

Regardless, they'll still win by double digits.

The school is currently investigating him over the rape allegations. They really have no choice with the neanderthal.

Totally legitimate complaint.

However, there has to be a middle ground. No team should be hurt for playing in a CCG but your body of work should be considered.

Without trying to come off like I'm butthurt, look at 2011. The discussion came down to quality losses. It was like the wins didn't matter. Clearly Alabama was better than okie state but you didn't hear shite about okie state beating 4 ranked teams that year.

The rematch/saban-miles/SEC hype took over and shite all over OSU. It probably should have been LSU v Bama, but the fact that a legitimate discussion didn't take place is disappointing.

Not so sure about that. FSU D is a bit down this year. Their offense hasn't been lights out either barring 1 run by Winston. Clemson was able to put major yardage up in their 1 legit game so far. They just started sputtering in the second half.

Clemson D line is pretty legit; minus being able to stop Gurley, but no one can. They have some really good young receivers as well.

I think FSU wins by a TD but this whole thing makes it a lot more interesting.

Well yeah but that's kind of a 'no shite' example.

What if it comes down to a situation like OSU and Bama in 2011?

SoS should absolutely be considered. Remember we're talking playoff...not championship game. 2011 got it right, but OSU got screwed in the discussion.

My buddy who has some serious FSU connections who is a total homer thinks Jameis is done for the year. He wouldn't admit that unless he knew it.
