We're all going to end up loving this kid. A. He didn't rape anybody. B. If you forget the crab legs incident, which we all eventually will, he just stood up on a table and said, "frick her right in the pussy," which we all agree is funny in the abstract.

I am a Jameis fan.

I'm not sure if I would prefer that he score a 7 or a 48.

I'm pretty sure I can't lose either way. It would kind of suck if he threw up a 25, though.

Comparing Jamies to Peyton Manning is a disservice to Jameis. He will win more than 1 super bowl.

And now I hear Dustin Hoffman saying "Definitely" whenever I see Jameis.

I've judged him based on clips of what I've seen in the media regarding his transgressions and listening to him talk. Hated him and assumed he was physically gifted but ignorant.

Now I'm not sure about that. The link was impressive. I now know this...I would rather he not land in the Saints' NFC South.

That's the weird thing about Winston. He's apparently quite book smart

The comparison I heard several times was Peyton Manning.

I love how upset people get over Jameis. No one wants him to be good, and it kills them that he is good.

Atl and NO fans on here are scurred.

I pray to God Tampa takes him. He is a bust in the same mold as Russell, Young, and Leaf.

Jimbo is really great with preparing his Qbs but Jameis was like that before he got to FSU. Here is footage from the Elite 11 camp with Trent Dilfer.

Dilfer talked highly of Jameis in his QB book.

this is a myth largely fueled by confirmation biases by people who couldn't handle academics but think they're smart

now if you want to say that people who are intelligent and perform well in academics lack certain social aggression? that's likely true

those 3 are all busts for different reasons

but the last time "nola and ATL were scared" of a potential QB in the draft, it was Cam Newton. i could see jameis be a less athletic Cam

i don't see JR in him b/c he loves football too much. i don't think JR ever really loved FB, but he was really great at it. he got paid and lost his father figure and just gave up

I'd compare him to Donte Culpepper.

Dumb as a doorknob but he seems to know the game well and find ways to win

It seems impossible for people to handle that he may understand football even if he makes poor decisions in his personal life.
