Yeah, he would

Keep up the good fight.

At first it was "he'll NEVER win te Heisman"

Then "he'll never win the championship"

Now it's "he'll never go first"

Who said all the other stuff? I think it was quite obvious he was going to win the Heisman. FSU was the favorite to win the game, were they not? IMO JW is more like a Vince Young type guy. Unstoppable or nearly so in college, but that doesn't mean much at the next level.

Not saying he won’t go first but this is a bit premature…..he may rip his knee apart playing baseball and never step on a football field again

Uh, no he doesnt. Kid struggles to throw the ball 50 yards. Luck can throw 70-75. Winston threw a ball in the NC game that looked like a rainbow even though he threw it as hard as he physically could. Distance traveled? 35 yds. I'll give him a tiny benefit because he was moving in the pocket but still.

Luck's arm strength improved by his RS JR year.

Jameis arm strength > Luck's arm strength as RS Fr

With that said. Will his arm strength improve like Luck's did? idk.

at this point in their careers... there's no comparing the two. JW is blowing him out of the water.

I think Winston has a good shot at being a better QB prospect than luck... he'll be the #1 overall pick, assuming he stays healthy. Tons of weapons are coming back on that FSU offense, and the ACC is still garbage.

Plus, he'll have a few more high profile opportunities to showcase his talents -- ND and UL games.

Luck doesn't even have that strong of an arm. I think it was his only criticism going into the draft.

Jameis threw a guy out at third from right field by himself. There is no question Jameis has a much stronger arm than Luck.

I still think playing baseball (while makes for a cool story) hurts his development though. Time he could spend working on his mechanics, staying in football shape, film study, etc. is being lost.

So even if he is a first round pick at QB. He wont be as polished.

And Luck truly is a once in a lifetime prospect.

I'd compare Jameis more with the Stafford's and Bradford's at this point. Unless he focuses completely on football.

Do you recall seeing Luck his RS Fr year is the question?

Just turned 20 year old Jameis vs. today's 24 year old Luck...

Yea I think 24 year old Luck has a stronger arm.

I don't recall. Do you? It's extremely difficult to compare things such as arm strength, much less when there are 4 years separating the two. I only took issue with the definitiveness of the statement.

what? he was my clear heisman winner all season long, but he wouldn't go number 1 right now in this draft.

not saying he won't be a future number 1 overall.. but he's certainly not a better prospect than Luck
