Yup, hence why he’s a mediocre QB.

He had legions of 5-stars at his disposal yet managed to be average. He’s not very good.

Can't wait till TUA sits out next CFP and BAMA is without an experienced QB.

OU message board pretty much saying its a done deal

They thought they were getting Fields and apparently Hurts was the backup plan.

Of course there is a strong rumor Kyler might come back, so i bet hurts waits until the 14th to announce.

Why would OU want Hurts? I would think they’d be in a position to have a better option at qb than Jalen Hurts as a grad transfer. I would have thought Hurts was more along the lines of a good pickup for a team like Ole Miss.

As a QB, hell yes

Jalen Hurts last year

60.4%--148 yds/game--17 tds---1int---150.2 rating

Joe Burrow

58%--222 yards/game--16tds---5int---133 rating

Keep in mind who Hurts teammates were

I think you mean as a passer, which is why you probably left off rushing stats and touchdowns which count all the same. Either way, it was evident he improved a lot this year from last year at throwing the ball

No I mean as a qb

I can add his rushing stats, but I view his running as a "oh shite what the hell is going on I am a running back athlete lets roll", not "I am a qb that can also kill you with my legs"

He is mediocre and needs a perfect fit to be anything other than that

keep in mind you are leaving off like 800+ yards of rushing and 8 touchdowns. and you are making a comparison to burrow to do what, show that hurts is much better than him?

i mean that's just dishonest. and lol at the justifications for his rushing ability not counting because they are "oh shite" moments.

Neither could Tebow or Fitzgerald

At Oklahoma you still need to air it out. For Dan Mullen you just need a working arm for the passing

You're not all about him?

I actually think LSU would do worse with hurts

His style would not suit this team and coaching staff at all. We would be fricked with all our deep verticals and crossing routes only
