I liked what we were doing but this OL is so overrated and we’re still undermanned defensively especially on the DL. I think we’re actually overachieving this year but letting this one slip is inexcusable.

I’m officially out on BK after tonight. I’m sure we’ll have him for another 2/3 years minimum but he’ll never get the job done.

Unanchor my Freeman > Kelly thread
Freeman has the opposite problem. He is terrific in high profile games - he is 9 - 4 against ranked teams in his 2 1/2 years. Witness the A&M game earlier this year - that team was ready to play, and we out physicaled that team.
He has a wild tendency to lose a game or so every year against an absolutely terrible team. NIU this year, Stanford, etc.
Kelly is the opposite. He wins the games he should like clockwork but is soft as baby shite in big games. Always has been.

The initial game plan was great. It’s the in game decisions that get me. It seems time and time again he makes the wrong one. Not taking the points on the first drive of the season against USC. Trying a career long fg after Ramos just shanked one from shorter. Attempting the third one. I’m sure there’s sound reasoning in all of those choices from him but anytime there’s any kind of “questionable” coaching decision I just expect it to go wrong. Especially in a big game.

Yeah we’re still paying the price of a lost year last year.
The running game is what’s actually worrying me. We haven’t had a good running game since BK got here. Lived off of Jayden being an unreal athlete for two years.

I gave up on Kelly after the USC game this year. I’m done.

Fellas, I will take all your problems off your hands. BK, come to Ann Arbor, baby.
Unfortunately, their arrogant culture would never allow for that.

OL is incredibly soft when they aren’t false starting the fat counts.
