It's striking how similar Drew Brees and Steve Nash are

Very cerebral players who weren't blessed with great physical tools
Likes to lick their fingers
Considered busts/disappointments early in their career
Were undervalued by their original teams and let go in free agency
Needed an offensive genius to take their game to another level (Sean Payton, Mike D'Antoni)
Nash led the Suns to historically great offenses while Brees has set many passing records with the Saints
Were/are still great players into their late 30s

You don't think Drew Brees and Steve Nash were born with great physical tools?

They both brought their lunch pail to work too.

I didn't know Texans are considered Canadians now?

Are you fricking kidding me? Drew Brees doesn't have great physical tools?

Just because he isn't a 6'3" black guy who runs a 4.3 40 doesn't mean he isn't an incredibly gifted athlete.

Brees wasn't undervalued by the Chargers. He just wasn't good at first in San Diego. It wasn't until the Eli/ Rivers trade and Rivers holdout that Brees started to do well. He was only let go because he had an apparent career ending injury and they had a top draft pick at QB already on the roster.

Thought this was going to be about their sweaty hair.

Having never been in a locker room with those guys, I have no clue.
