Like you see with actresses, I think you can get away with one or two facelifts, then it's diminishing returns. Herbstreit seems to have a similar weird makeover going, too.

Old doesn’t look like that
Either he got pretty ill which caused his sunken in face, or he actually had somewhat extensive work done on his face recently

That's what you look like when you're an older athlete and you lose weight to stay in shape. You lose facial fat as you age anyway, and he's training intensely on top of that.

He's obviously shed some weight. Which is very noticeable in the face on anyone. Not to mention his fricking hair is sticking up a mile in the newer pic to make his face look that much longer.
He may have had some plastic surgery, but you asked if he was I'll. Not the same. He's one of the most health conscious people in the country.
