I love that the running game is back.

With all the injuries being piling up this season, I think it's a little early to make this claim. I could also see the Rams and/or Raiders rest their aging starters at the end of the season if they have playoff spots locked up. Anything can happen, but I get your premise. It doesn't look like either first round QB will be needed much this season on their respective teams.
And yes, the running game is a refreshing change of pace.

No, but I do think it’s the first time since 2005 that it’s happened.
Not exactly sure what it has to do with the running game. Feel like it’s way more situational with whoever is the current starter.

In modern history maybe, but it was pretty common back in the day
And Mendoza is definitely going to start games. I’d still probably bet that he starts more games than Cousins despite their hot start

No chance they yank cousins at this point. Its their best start in forever.

I’m not saying it’s happening this week or anything but all it’s going to take is a 2-4 game slide where the offense looks ugly. They’ve got a pretty tough October stretch

Cousins, while he's a really good QB, is cursed with bad luck. He's one injury away from getting waved. He's a couple bad starts away from getting benched. You know it, I know it, he knows it. And it's the Raiders, so all logic goes out of the window there.

Only if Kirk gets hurt

Cousins just ouplayed league darling Mahomes by a country mile and some bad luck and a few long runs from Kenneth Walker lost him the game.
