like you said that is the one benefit of miles is since he doesn't have his own offense or D we aren't married to anything and can make the changes. The problem with that is you then have to make a great hire every time, you can't afford to miss.

no doubt

SC's defense looks like LSU last year. Just a schematic clusterfrick, but Carroll has a lifetime pass pretty much, so it's not like LSU where a simply DC change makes a huge difference. It's a depressing scenario.

Well, yes and no on that one. He doesn't have a specific offense or defense, but he definitely has a specific philosophy...conservative. I think he will always bring in guys who are either conservative to begin with, or if they aren't, will be forced to coach that way.

The Miles "Riverboat Gambler" moniker always leaves me shaking my head.

Will Les make a change at OC this offseason

looks like those wheels are already in motion. Might see a completely new offensive staff if porter gets the memphis job

I hope stud gets the axe as well jake

we might need that...this offense is so stagnant and predictable, it looks like crowton's just running through the motions.

or it's les calling the same shite over and over.

i have not seen any difference from week 1 to now in terms of offensive tempo and/or type of playcalling.

stud has certainly replaced henson as the guy miles talks to on the sidelines most

just wait til miles beats down a shitty big 10 team in the bowl game, and optimism shoots to an all-time high for next year.

I honestly believe it's crowton and not les fricking with the playbook

and jake after seeing lee lastnight I think its now obvious why the playcalling was what it was in the 2nd half against bama

And he threw a pass against Auburn when all we needed was a FG...

even though he still had time for a FG if it was incomplete.

The only time I ever said, "man this guy's crazy" was when we ran that fake punt out of our end zone in his first game against Arizona St. And even then I read later that it was the punter's decision.

yeah like i said last night. i wanted to see lee earlier just to see what we had, and i was mad that we didn't get to

after last night, i realized why lee never saw teh field unless he had to, even in blowouts

Last night I was ready to just run the fricking wildcat with Shep. Couldn't get much worse at that point. Just let him and KW go for it. LaTech can't stop shite

I agree with the one exception of dropping "check with me" 75% of the time.

I do think Les and Co thought La Tech would be a good time to test out the Jarett Lee waters and he failed the test miserably.

With that said, I think LSU is gonna be better next year than this year.......If we had any type of OC capabale of utilizing Shepard and Jefferson's traits we'd be undefeated........

People keep harping on our OL struggles but they are a direct result of predicatablity......
