I went to the La Tech/A&M game in Shreveport back in 1999 or so and I was ready to leave in the 2nd quarter, not only because it was a bad game, but their chants. It was constant and irritating! STUPID!

It's like what I told a friend yesterday. A&M people are like Mormons. Most of them are very nice, they seem to really enjoy who they are and most seem like good people. But being one of them is like joining a cult

I like the weird traditions that most colleges have, makes it interesting. a&m may have more than most but who cares as long as they have fun.

The point is, it's their traditions and they love it...and their passion is awesome and should be appreciated by all CFB fans.

Have you ever been to a game at Kyle Field? It's a place everyone should experience. While the chants aren't for me personally, it's something spectacular to see the crowd chanting in unison. When they sing the Aggie anthem and get to the line "saw varsity's horns off" and link arms and sway back and forth, it's awesome. While their tailgating isn't the greatest, although I have been to some really nice ones, I doubt you will meet a more courteous fan base. In short, it's traditions like their's that make college football what it is. If you can't appreciate their traditions, stick to the NFL.

Go to a A&M game...you will be ready to pull your hair out. It is not like a drunk student here and there, it is the whole crowd saying and chanting the same stupid shite over and over. The kissing thing is cool though.

It's ironic - they try to project a wholesome, sportsmanlike image but they are historically one of the dirtiest programs in the NCAA.
