Is the Hill/Waddle combo the most explosive duo the NFL has ever seen?

Both of those guys have ridiculous acceleration and top end speed.
That duo could cause some problems for defenses even if they aren't the prototype #1 type wide outs

Marques Colston and Lance Moore were more explosive and more of a deep ball threat

Regardless of how his career numbers end, Tyreek Hill in his prime is an all-time great weapon. Complete game changer at WR.

Henry Ruggs + anyone is probably more explosive.

You have to be on crack. They were good but don't have that type of burst

I hope to Christ so. I have them both in my fantasy team this year.

How is this a troll? Hill is probably the most explosive WR in the league and Waddle has ridiculous acceleration. Both of these guys can blow the top off a defense.

Duper and Clayton in the Marino days with the Dolphins
Swann and Stallworth in the Steel Curtain days with the Steelers
Harrison and Wayne in the Manning days with the Colts
Monk and Clark in the 80s with the Redskins
Moss and Carter with the Vikings
Bruce and Holt with the Rams
Rice and Taylor with the 49ers
Be careful using the word ever. You open the door to a very large universe when you do.

I was thinking of some of the Al "every WR must be a track guy" Davis teams.
One year he had Tim Brown, Willie Gault and James Lofton...with Bo fricking Jackson at RB.

Yeah but a lot of those all time greats you mentioned weren’t nearly as fast/explosive as these two guys. They were amazing hall of fame receivers but weren’t the pure burners these guys are. Think that’s what OP is asking.

Back in the Duper-Clayton and especially the Swann-Stallworth days defensive backs didn't get PI calls every time they breathed on a receiver either. You could do everything short of applying a Vulcan nerve grip to a receiver and not get flagged back then.

Yeah I thought that was pretty obvious
Still laughing at the Colston comparison. Dude probably ran a 4.6 at best

I think Mecole Hardman is faster than Waddle(although not as good overall). So I guess you could say Tyreek/Hardman duo has them slightly beat out.

Neither one of these dudes are close to Tyreke.
