Looked like his old self last night, dropping 28 on 6-8 from 3 (half of those were very difficult shots) in only 3 quarters of play. It's just one game, let's see how he does on the road against good competition.

Or was he ever truly here?

Steph is a great player, but he has at no point ever been a top 2 player

Bron and Durant have always been ahead of him

I would put Kawhi ahead of him too no doubt

On a different note, I think the KD injury is a blessing in disguise if he comes back healthy in a timely manner. Here's why:

GSW still has a 2.5 game lead for the 1-seed while they've experimented with different lineups and incorporated Matt Barnes and gotten their younger bench players lots of experience.
Barnes fits in well with them, and was a much better acquisition than if they had just gotten Jose Calderon

ITs not a blessing IMO the only way they lose in the playoffs is if he's not playing or not playing well due to the layoff. If he doesn't get hurt they were in no danger of losing in Rd 2. If he sits Rd 1 then has some bad games in his first few back they could get knocked off.
