it's also funny because Fed looks like he's anorexic compared to half the folks on tour....yet still dominates

quote:What are the negative consequences of doing this?
1. Months before competition, a pint of blood is taken from the athlete's body.
2. The blood is gently "spun down" to separate serum from red blood cells. Red blood cells comprise approximately 44% of blood volume.
3. About a month later, when the athlete's blood count has risen to normal, another unit of blood is removed, spun down and
kept in a cold liquid state.
4. The athlete resumes training while the blood concentrate is refrigerated, 80 degrees Celsius.
5. About a week before his event, the two concentrated units of blood are dripped back into his system, thereby raising his red cell count. The transfusion may also be of blood from another person of the same blood type.

By increasing the number of red blood cells, blood doping causes the blood to thicken. This thickening forces the heart to work harder than normal to pump blood throughout the body. As a result, blood doping raises the risk of:
blood clot
heart attack
stroke

Does anyone wonder if Serena is taking PEDs?
Having no proof other than visual perception, that girl hasn't met a steroid she don't like.

Possibly the disorientation she experienced at Wimbledon could be the result of a bad blood transfusion. A bad blood bag...mess you up!

From a friend, Serena was high as a kite for that match. Venus was too

I can believe that as well.
Just saying one of the side effects of contaminated blood is confusion. Im probably way off the base on this one...I take it back

How hard is it for people to just friggin enjoy the sports. Athletes have been using PEDs for years, even in the "good ol days" but now it's condemnable. As long as there have been sports, participants have sought out and acquired advantages.

Because those that do are the ones we label as cheats. That's why we're having this discussion. Is it fair to the athlete that trains and plays fair only to get Fricked by someone playing outside the rules and also with their own health. You decide for yourself what's right...I think I already know what you'll choose...

Does anyone wonder if Serena is taking PEDs? For her to continue to be this dominant, and obviously more massive in build than any other player is crazy. In a sport where injuries are rampant (I know she has had a few) it's crazy to see her continue to roll through competitions. I just wonder how good the tennis drug testing is. Obviously it would be terrible for women's tennis if she would be caught.
Lets end this topic one more time. Serena Williams is the most tested female tennis athlete in the world.
quote:
Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Serena Williams were tested 11 or more times by the Tennis Anti-Doping Programme last year, according to figures released by the ITF.
Drug testing in tennis increases, but not evenly for all players -tennis.com

She gets tested more than her female peers and still dominates. Quit Hating

From just a career standpoint, I think that Wawrinka should be mentioned, was mediocre for years, then starts winning slams.

Still one of the best tennis players and athletes in the world, though.

You afraid of strong women
She works out deal with it.
Just for giggles. LOL at Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki posing together

I don't know if she dopes or not, but because the vampires haven't caught them doesn't necessarily make them clean. Lance Armstrong was tested almost 200 times...those testers sure nailed his a$$!

If you think there isnt ways around those test than you are naive.

It's pretty recognised that Tennis doping controls are as effective as a chocolate fireguard
