When he goes 19-0 this year with the Super Bowl and another MVP, the haters here will finally admit he is the GOAT

It would definitely put him in the discussion.

I just hate the "RINGS" argument. It's ridiculous.

I agree for the most part, but it's certainly relevant when comparing two elite type players, one known for being extremely clutch in the post season and winning numerous championships and one known for throwing tons of picks and losing in the playoffs.

All it takes is the Marino vs. Dilfer debate to be brought up and your argument immediately blows.

Jordan never choked like a bitch in the playoffs. He won every series he ever played in that he was supposed to.

Peyton has been upset in Playoffs/Super Bowl on SEVEN different occasions.

While # of rings should never be the main argument, I don't see why it can't be a plus in the favor of someone in a debate amongst all-time elite players.

No one is actually ever comparing Dilfer to Marino like everyone likes to throw out. But if you're comparing say Montana to Marino, it's hard not to put a big plus in favor of Montana.

Now if you're arguing over 1 ring vs 2 rings, you're just splitting hairs. But if we're talking about a difference of 3-4 rings, it certainly should be taken into consideration.

Jordan was in the league for like 8 years before he won his first ring.

His team had a lot to do with him winning 6 rings.

Manning is the GOAT, therefore, he is the Le'bron of football...the Sam Snead of Football!
