I used to be a big fan back in the day of sr,rusty,mm, and dj .
Back when drivers tried to win instead of racing for points.
Before nascar tried to fix races so jr could win (but he still couldn't.)
Now you see a lot of empty seats.
Hell ky speedway took out some of theirs cause they can't sell tix.
I read rumour is the france fam is trying to sell out.
Hopefully someone will buy it and make worth watching again.
Yeah, I'm an old fart and that's my .02

No, but it needs a superstar, with charisma, badly.

Driving in circles is always going to be a tough sell without interesting personalities

Hopefully, I’ll watch soccer before I watch NASCAR and I’m no fan of soccer.

I still think it’s fun to go out to the races when they’re in town and pick a driver to throw down $20 on to see if I win. But that’s about it. Maybe legalized sports betting will help it a bit.

The current structure is crap. It will never be like it was in the late 90s. Seems it went to complete shite when it became the Nextel Cup.

Ratings and attendance is down because NFL players are protesting police brutality during the national anthem.

Did you watch soccer before you clicked on a Nascar thread?

NASCAR was done when Earnhardt died, they compounded everything with stupid rules and cookie cutter cars.

It's lost it's way. People can only watch other people driving in a circle so much.

It desperately needs leadership changes. Someone to breath life into it without just creating a bunch of gimmicks like the current leaders do.
