Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson have both been deserving of the MVP the last two seasons

I feel the same way. They will give it to Allen this year because Lamar got it last year. Thus, this thread.

You can say Josh Allen doesn't have help but he certainly isn't doing more lol. Ravens on pace to have the best offense ever on a per play basis.

Olajuwon 2
Jordan 3
Shaq 3
Duncan 2

I think it can honestly be said Josh Allen has one of the worst WR corps in the NFL

WR leaders

Shakir
Rookie Keon Coleman
Shoeless Mack Hollins

Quite literally the entire talk both on this site and the media was how big of a step back Buffalo was going to take because of all the pieces they lost and their lack of talent on offense

Well….

The 2024 Bills are only the 3rd team ever to average 3 points per possession

Both other teams to accomplish that had their QBs win the MVP

What's the old saying, "if you have two starting QBs then you have none"?

The same concept is kind of similar for MVP candidates. If you have two "MVPs" on your team - and I am painting with a broad brush to include Derrick Henry - then you really don't have a true MVP.

It's the operative word of value. A great player who carries a really good team will be seen as more deserving than multiple great players who lead a really good team.
