It’s been rebuilt. You get off 40 1 exit too soon.

Is OKC better than Memphis?

I’ve spent some time in Memphis, only drove through OKC, but I probably would rather be in Memphis honestly.

Jacksonville is basically Memphis with a beach.

I think I’d rather be in Memphis than Buffalo.

Green Bay is such an outlier it’s hard to compare

Detroit is a notch above these, but I wouldn’t want to be there in the winter

But the beach is the difference.

I like the beach.

I'm sure that's the part of the free agent pitch that closes guys

Well I listed a bunch of other stuff.

I guess a big airport in the middle of the country that’s super easy to go through with quick flights all over the country (and world) is just cool to me. Would be even cooler to me if I had millions of dollars.

I guess I was thinking of the actual old Cook Convention Center. I always like that place.

Now what is it... the Cannon Center and the Renasant Center?

I don't do I-40. Sam Cooper to North Parkway.

No state income tax,

This has to take it out of the equation for the title of worst.

I know income taxes can be convoluted for pro athletes, but residing and playing in a market with no state income tax is still a big benefit. Superstars like LeBron obviously benefit more from a major market. But your typical non-lottery draftee or bench warmer is probably looking at making $5-15 million total (gross/pre-tax) for his entire career. That's a ton of money but it has to last an entire lifetime because most of these guys are too stupid to do anything else for a living. Padding another million into that nest egg from tax and COL benefits could go a long way down the road.

Portland, hands down.

Green Bay isn't all that bad. Low crime, successful franchise, okay dining options, and if you throw in Appleton it adds some additional naked ballet options. and is fairly close to Milwaukee.

Green Bay has like 90,000 people. Not much crime there I would think....... winters are rough but I’ll take that over constant crime any day.......

Portland is an incredible city. I have no idea its current state but pre protests and shite it’s one of the best.

Ohio sucks in general and is hemorrhaging population for a reason.

It’s probably losing residents because of economic factors, which don’t matter much for pro athletes.

Portland was ok if you were exactly like everyone else, before the riots. Likely sucked as a pro athlete.

I’ve been through there after the riots, and it was disgusting.

2 entirely different airports

This isnt true. Fedex uses the same runways as the MEM airport. The Fedex hub is also located on the same grounds as the MEM airport.
