Is LeBron the greatest Miami Heat player ever?

Won Two MVPs and Two Finals MVPs in Miami and brought the city two rings. Left Miami as the leader in most playoff statistics even though he only played there 4 years. I think it is unarguable that LBJ is the greatest Cleveland Cav in history and deserves his jersey retired and possibly even a statute there. But does he deserve to have his jersey retired in Miami as well? And has there ever been another player to be considered the best player for two different franchises?

Depends on the criteria. He’s the best player to ever play for the Heat. No one has ever played better basketball in a a Heat jersey than what Lebron James did.
But the greatest Heat player imo has to incorporate entire career - and that would go to Wade. He won 3 titles for the Heat, once as the alpha, and he’s the most iconic Heat player due to longevity and career success.
It’s similar to Kobe and the Lakers. There have been better players don a Lakers jersey but there has not ever been a better Laker

Saying LeBron is the greatest Heat player ever is sort of like saying Durant is the best Warrior ever.
