Dwyane Wade.

And before anyone laughs, check the career numbers, nothing funny about it. Wade not only stacks up, but puts up better and more efficient numbers.

I'll take that guy.

Its obvious you have some bias against Kobe. Its cool, but its real.

Sure he does. Would he be a starter? No. But what SGs (besides MJ, of course) would u put before him?

Robertson for sure.

Okay, let me rephrase then: How many pure, perimeter scorers would you take before Kobe (again, besides MJ)?
Wade

24.7 ppg on 19.6 shots per game
.489 FG%
.567 TS%

Gonna be hard to find a better scorer than that.

I like that lineup, but do you think LBJ and Magic need to be on the court at the same time? They are too similar imo and one of them needs to run more with the second team.

I love Oscar, but he wasn't a cold blooded scorer in the mold of MJ, Kobe, etc

LeBron is a good enough outside shooter to make it worth it. Not a lot of floor spacing with that line up outside of Bird.

No, not really. Kobe's numbers are better when you factor in it includes many, many post-prime years. I guarantee you Kobe's numbers will be better than Wade's numbers after Wade plays 17 seasons. You disagree?

Close call. Wade in '06 was really really good at basketball. Between him and Kobe from the same year, I'm not sure who you take.

Yeaaa but his strength isn't really outside shooting. Having him as someone to space the floor isn't utilizing his greatest assets. If that were the case you're better of putting Steve Kerr at his spot (minus the whole defensive side of the floor, of course )

Stick with the alien test. It focuses the analysis.

I already told you kobe would make my top-12. Hes a cold-blooded assassin, and is one of the more clutch, mentally tough, hardest working players of all-time. Of course I would take him if our planet was in jeopardy

Kobe is a great shooter. I'm debating hard whether I want him as the first guard off the bench on the alien team. If he were a better distributor I would definitely take him.

Legit. I'm not sure where he would be in the rotation, but I think its safe to say he'd be on the team.

Why put Kerr out there when you have a guy like LeBron who can spot up from 3, but also be a great playmaker in addition. Where did I say he was only going to spot up? He can do other things too. Plus he's one of the best perimeter help defenders ever. We're playing for our lives here, man!

I'm personally scared to death of a team that could have Magic/Jordan drive and collapse the defense and have LeBron standing in the corner shooting 45% or cut right behind them and have an easy finish around the rim. That's the best starting 5 I could imagine.

Where's Speedy when you need him?

I don't know how to do it on BREF, but I'm pretty confident if you compare Wade from 22-31's numbers to Kobe's 22-31, Wade will still come out with better efficiency, much like the career numbers.

Yeah, I actually think he is on the team. At first I didn't think he would be, but I've changed my mind. MJ would keep his ego (and shooting volume) in check.
