Games like this is why the Skins are reluctant to give him 100+ million

He has completed some really nice deep passes. Can't seem to get that running game going.

How will he ever survive with the pitiful $44 million he has made the last two seasons?

If he is tagged next year the $34 million plus this year's 24 million would be more than the $53 million guarentee Washington offered in its long term contract.

He completed one good deep ball

made some terrible decisions and throws in the redzone

Yeah but that one on PI would have been caught. I know it's an incompletion but it was a perfect throw.

He doesn't perform like a 100 million QB should in big games or in crunch time vs good teams.

He's a mid tier QB who should be paid mid tier money.

The Texans fricked the QB market up so bad.

agreed...watching him week in, week out...perfect summary.

Yeah, he will have a great game against a mid-tier team, but when it counts, he stinks.

Yes, I know the team leaves a lot to be desired, but his decision making stinks.

I would rather spend the money on 2-3 great offensive linemen

He’s doubled down on himself this year and it might not pay off. San Fran going after him would have been leverage but they are out of the picture.

Luckiest.
He's good, not great.
One play away from no income.
He's a risk taker.
If he gets another yr with skins, he won the bet.
Unless you are a skins fan you have to admire his courage.

As a Skins fan, I'd be alright with him leaving. He is a good QB. But he's not worth 20M a year. Let him walk. Sign someone like Tyrod Taylor or a reclamation project like Bortles or Bridgewater. Its a QB friendly system and Gruden is supposed to be great at developing/managing them..

yes for his own bank account...but good riddance from the Skins.

Skins dug their own grave. Absolutely ridiculous they let it get to this point.

What do you think Taylor is going to cost?

That's not exactly an excessive qb number at this point.
