Lebron is still the king and best player in the league.

I agree. Gianna’s being overrated this year due to team accolades:

Kawhi is amazing as a solo act. Can shoot/score at will and one of the best defenders in the league.

But he doesn’t necessarily make the players around him better and isn’t a great leader. He has the skill just not the intangibles.

A week before CameClose loses? Nope.
A week after CameClose loses? Nope.

Always immediately after CameClose loses.

It’s quite remarkable timing to never be here when he needs to own up for his shite talking.

Giannis put up 27 and 12 on a 30.9 PER. Those are numbers as good as any player in NBA history, and he was a legit DPOY candidate at the same time.

He's not overrated. Jordan and LeBron's highest PER was 31.7. Giannis had an incredible year.

It's amazing how well he progressed, and how good he has become.

I went and looked at his stats, numbers, and every year he got better, continued to get better, while some peak early in careers, he continues to progress.

he's a great player but not top 5 worthy talks.

He does not close out tight games as his teams primary offensive option. You can’t put that kinda guy in top 5. Especially when you consider who their other options are. it ain’t like they have another top 20 player or even a top 30 player.

If the Bucks win the next two, this thread flips the other way. The TRant has too many emotional posters.

He is one of the 4-5 you can make a real argument for, but these things are not objective.

No Order in each tier - Just my opinion.

S+ tier- Legit "probably the best" contenders:
-KD
-LBJ
-Harden
-Curry
-Kawhi

S Tier - The "could win an MVP if they light on fire 1 season" group :
-Westbrook
-AD
-Giannis
-Lillard
-Embiid
-Kyrie
-Nurk (? maybe)
-PG13

A Tier - Guys who you absolutely want playing with guys in the S / S+ Tier for your team:
-Butler
-Simmons
-Kemba
-Klay
-Oladipo
-Middleton
-KAT
-Draymond
-Wall
-Porzingis
-Gobert
-Nurk (? maybe)
-Donovan Mitchell
-Jason Tatum
-Beal
-Jrue Holiday
-Kyle Lowery
-DeRozan
-L. Aldridge
-Mike Conley
-Wiggins

This is not for anything other than entertainment and showing my opinion
