Just last year Kentucky was involved with a questionable recruit (Enes Kanter) and luckily the NCAA caught them ahead of time. Coach Cal is a cheater, I do not consider that good coaching at all and I will never consider him great in anyway, he put 2 schools on probation, that has to say something.

All CBB coaches push the gray zone...

I am not worried about Cal getting UK in trouble with the NCAA. If there is any indication that there is dirty business, then Pete Thamel, Pat Forde, and other fish wrap hacks will do anything to bring UK down.

Sandy Bell (UK Compliance) is doing her job...plus UK itself will help Cal bring in the players just like UNC and Kansas.

link?

Your boy Roy is every bit as dirty.

He just comes off as an aloof dumb arse, so people who don't know better think he's a wholesome guy.

No different then some of the Euro's that are playing at West Virginia and Washington.

You are going to tell me no coach would not take a chance on Katner eligible? If he went to Washington U, he probably would had been playing last year.

Exactly. I don't think people have any idea how many reporters want to bring down UK basketball. But, I'm sure they're taking their sweet arse time getting around to it, right?

No school he has coached at is on probation....2 schools were put on probation after Coach Cal, no other coach besides Kelvin Sampson can compare to that, and Sampson has been pushed out of CBB.

Ah, Kentucky was the only school Sutton put on probation and it was his assistant coach Dwayne Casey who was putting all the money and stuff in the envelope. He probably was involved though, even though Cal has been caught at pretty much every school he has been at.

Get your head out of your arse...if anyone form Indy dug deep enough, they would find some dirt and issues at any program (see Pearl at UT).

By the way, Kansas with Chalmers is just as bit as dirty as Cal and D. Rose. Chalmers had many issues with his HS transcripts, but he made the shot that put the game in OT for the title.

Every program has SOME dirt on them.

Roy just gets a pass because he seems too dumb to be able to cheat and get away with it.

Then that means you have to have some HUGE amount of dirt to get put on probation. Hence UMass and Memphis.

I'm pretty sure Cal had absolutely nothing to do with DRose and his ACT testing. That is what got Memphis stripped off it's record that year. Nothing Cal did.

Also, Camby did shady shite after he was there at UMASS and accepted money from the agents. Again, nothing Cal did.

Kanter wouldn't have played anywhere, which is why HIGH SCHOOLS were backing off, not to mention almost every college in America.

But Tigger is wrong as well. Cal did nothing dirty or wrong with Kanter. Everyone knew he received money when he played in Turkey. The NCAA has ridiculous rules defining who is an amateur. Doug Johnson, Ricky Williams, and Trajan Langdon CAN play pro baseball but still play college basketball.

Matt Mauck, Chris Weinke, Brandon Weeden, Josh Booty, and many others can make hundreds of thousands of dollars and still play a college sport, but Jeremy Bloom can't do international skiing events and still play football.

UNC had a soccer player from the Leeds United academy, which is no different than what Deniz Kilicli did before he headed to high school in West Virginia, yet he sits 18 games or something like that.

There were rumors that after the suspensions of certain Euro players, the NCAA would make a change in how they enforced those suspensions. Cal just wasted a scholarship that no one besides Lorenzo Romar thought was worth doing, to see if Kanter would somehow be cleared. Worst-case scenario, you have an NBA quality player in practice.

And....that's where the NAIA comes in....

Nothing but 35 year old dudes who played in the third division Turkish pro leagues.
