I watch the whole game. What an awful excuse especially in the playoffs.
And god damn he loves to flop its amazing

yea let's ignore his whole career and focus on one relationship with one player in one season.
As it has been said, Harden did nothing to mend the locker room issues in Houston this year. That MATTERS.
The Rockets are a miserable basketball team.
quote:
Houston Rockets are the most miserable fricking basketball team I’ve ever seen. This is different than being bad. Plenty of teams are bad—not including the Rockets, who are merely mediocre—but not miserable. The Rockets are uniquely mediocre and miserable. The Rockets don’t seem remotely interested in playing basketball. They’re in the playoffs, yet can barely summon the energy to give a shite.
quote:
While Howard is getting most of the lambasting for last night, I think that’s unfair. Whiny, robotic, unfunny, gesticulating Dwight Howard is actually a sympathetic character on the Rockets, because he does in fact sometimes look like he gives a shite, like the game of basketball stirs some emotion in him, even if that emotion is unproductive anger.
quote:
The Spurs succeed because every player is unified in trying to play basketball the “right” way. The Warriors enjoy playing basketball together and revel in how good they are. The Cavaliers have a bunch of professionals (and J.R. Smith) who show up and do their work. The Thunder are driven by Westbrook’s murderous intensity. But the Rockets? The Rockets are angry and disinterested—an unfathomable combination because usually one precludes the other. They seem to hate being at work, so they don’t put in any effort, but they also hate their coworkers, so they get angry at them nonetheless. This has been a long time coming. The Harden-Howard partnership has never looked as fluid on the court as it did on paper, but last year it led the Rockets to the Western Conference Finals, and the success papered over the cracks. But this year, those cracks blew apart, and the Rockets were a season-long mess. What we’re seeing now is a manifestation of that, and the sooner they get swept and can go about their summers, the better.

By that I mean, did that dude stop comparing Harden to AI?
nope
they are both overrated, no defense playing, me first chucking, offense breaking, flop artists that can't lead for shite.

Pretty sure I said he has had a poor year leadership wise on many occasions, it is still one season of his career. Do we judge all players by their worst year? Or do we judge them by their entire career. Give me a break, you mouth breathing idiot. They are getting beat by the greatest team of all time and all of a sudden Harden ain't shite.
YOu don't get picked to be MVP of the whole NBA league by your peers if you ain't the MAN.

you guys remember what
You always have a shot when you have the best player on the floor, GSW-CC looks like a seven game series that could go either way.

Yeah, he really seems to break the offense...
Posted on 4/20/16 at 3:55 pm to PrimeTime Money
He certainly doesn't break the offense.
But as I've said and is becoming more evident as the games/seasons go by, he's not good enough at his style of play to be the #1 guy on a title team.
As I've asked, was called retard/idiot, and got no response, give me the precedent for the team with a guy as ball dominant as Harden but not all time great status(MJ/Lebron/2006 Wade/Curry) winning a title.
Or, are you still sticking to the Harden is as good as Lebron battle cry, even though that's getting squashed to pieces in a big, obvious way?

quote:What a dumb set of arbitrary rules you came up with. Those players become "all-time greats" BECAUSE they won a title. And secondly, why do you exclude them? They were ball-dominant players who won a title.

And there are others like Kobe and Dirk.
You don't want to include all of those guys because it destroys your argument that ball-dominant players can't win titles.
