OU would be a much better team with someone else, he nearly cost them like three other games

He’s single handedly kept them in most of their games

No.

You should learn to ask open ended questions. Makes for better threads.

Well I think he’s trying to say that Hurts sucks and OU would be better with someone else...

Paul Horning won the heisman while throwing for 900 yds with 3 td 13ints. Btw, his team was 2-8. Makes you wonder what guidelines were used back then.

He's no worse than a Heisman Candidate who never scored a point in his entire career (Manti Teo).

Gonna have to start dumbing down things in the future, I thought this place was a step above the SEC rant

In the 1956 season, he led his team offensively in passing, rushing, scoring, kickoff and punt returns, and punting. He also played defense and led his team in passes broken up and was second in interceptions and tackles made.

Might have something to do with it. Was the first pick in the NFL draft and had an ok career.

He’s a pretty damn good college QB but don’t see him making an NFL impact.

He may did all that but it didn’t help his team win. Substitute some random guy and ND still ends up with the same record.

The Heisman is an individual honor, not team.

And football is a team sport, so one guy isn't going to win a game/season.

Hornung, note spelling, was the best player that year. He just happened to be on a shitty team.

I'm sure you're well prepared and available.... why don't you suit up? Since I'm assuming you already have one Heisman, maybe you could have won another this year.
