Feels like getting the 5-8 seeds is much better.

They'll use this as an excuse to expand to 16.

Before the bracket was revealed Saban said he would rather play a first round game instead of a bye and I thought he was crazy. He must know something after all ??

Sitting for a month sucks for the players.l and team chemistry when the other team has a warm up game.

Think first game of the season when one of the teams get a warm up game and the other doesn’t.

I wouldn't want a bye. Teams sitting at home for a month, while your opponent played ten days ago against quality competition, is not optimal.

You’re saying a month off is equal to 8?

You saw two inferior teams lose to Texas and Penn State…

Oregon looking like they just woke up after a ten year hibernation would also go against the bye.

Staying in rhythm and winning football games.

Seems that way. Boise didn’t deserve a bye anyway so I don’t really count them, but both ASU and UO came out flat af. ASU eventually found their footing but I think I’d want to have a good rhythm coming in having already played and won.

Yes. You’re one game closer to the championship.

The teams with the byes were underdogs in the first place.

Clearly. The bye week has done wonders for the teams that have it.

I can't imagine wanting my team to sit at home for that long doing nothing before playing when the opponent isn't doing the same. Give me the home game against a team that has no business in a playoff---every single time. I've said that from the minute this format was announced.

The teams with byes were underdogs. That’s why they’re 0-3.

They’re not 0-3 because they had a bye.

Because the bye is the reason for the losses and nothing else lol

Well if they sat there doing nothing then that’s a them problem.
