Where are all the UK fans? I thought they would be all over this.

Since the tournament expanded in 1985, UCLA has been to 13 Sweet 16's, 6 Elite 8's, 4 Final Fours, and won 1 title. By contrast, Florida has been to 9 Sweet 16's, 6 Elite 8's, 4 Final Fours, and won 2 titles. Almost all of that success is in the past 10 years.

Florida is a new blueblood.

When did Carolina have a losing season in the last 10 years?

You should go on the UCLA boards. A lot of them want their AD to pursue Donovan as their next head coach.

We've only had Cal for 4. Gillispie kind of stunk up the last decade a bit.

I'd say UNC before Florida as well.

No, they're #2 behind North Carolina IMO.

All of Florida's good fortune came with one recruiting class really winning b2b. Impressive but I'm not sure they are the best program because of that. I'd like to see more top level consistency

Gotta be the Matt D era.

ETA: technically it hasn't been 10 yrs since UNC's last loosing season. But God Damn Matt Daugherty sucked as a coach. Could recruit, but sucked as a coach.

Florida has been pretty consistent since Donovan has arrived. 7 Sweet 16's in 13 NCAA tournament appearances, 5 Elite 8's, 3 Final Fours, 3 Title games and 2 national titles and counting.

That said, it is just great to even be in this conversation. Donovan has done remarkable things.

And let's not kid ourselves, it's a lot harder to win at UF than elite blue-blood programs like Kansas and UNC.
